Model Project-Based Learning untuk Peningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Gerhana Langit Siswa Kelas VII MTs

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada topik gerhana langit di kelas VII MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya. Pemahaman konsep gerhana yang abstrak memerlukan pendekatan kontekstual dan visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest–posttest pada 27 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman konsep dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan sintak PjBL. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji paired samples t-test, dan perhitungan N-gainHasil menunjukkan keterlaksanaan sintaks PjBL mencapai 93,5% dengan peningkatan signifikan (p<0,05) pada pemahaman konsep siswa. Rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,50 (kategori sedang) membuktikan PjBL efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep melalui kegiatan proyek kontekstual dan kolaboratif. Temuan ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa PjBL merupakan strategi alternatif yang efektif untuk pembelajaran fenomena langit dan dapat memperkuat pemahaman konseptual siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.
