Modul IPA Eksperimen Berbasis Pendekatan Deep Learning untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Mahasiswa PGSD

Calon guru SD dituntut menguasai keterampilan proses sains (KPS), namun bahan ajar yang tersedia masih menerapkan surface learning atau pendekatan yang hanya menekankan hafalan prosedur tanpa pemahaman konseptual mendalam (Biggs & Tang, 2011; Hattie & Donoghue, 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul IPA Eksperimen SD berbasis pendekatan Deep Learning yang mencakup elaborasi, organisasi, dan metakognisi guna meningkatkan KPS mahasiswa PGSD. Pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan subjek 30 mahasiswa PGSD semester V Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro. Hasil validasi menunjukkan modul sangat valid (skor ahli materi 4,52; ahli media 4,48), sangat praktis berdasarkan respon mahasiswa (89,6%), dan efektif meningkatkan KPS secara keseluruhan dengan N-Gain 0,74 (kategori tinggi), meliputi aspek mengamati (0,81), mengelompokkan (0,78), menafsirkan (0,75), meramalkan (0,73), berkomunikasi (0,70), dan menyimpulkan (0,68). Modul ini dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar IPA eksperimen yang mendorong pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa PGSD.
